At bloon, we are building an innovative full-stack no-code platform that empowers both non-programmers and IT professionals to create custom software solutions quickly and efficiently. Our technology enables massive cost and time savings while delivering user-friendly applications tailored to business needs. To drive our growth, we are looking for a SAP Cloud Solution Architect (m/f/d) to design and implement an SAP instance with a separate web service on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. This role involves technical architecture, migration, security, and monitoring, with a strong focus on high availability and cost efficiency.

Your Tasks

Cloud Architecture & Planning

  • Design and develop the SAP HANA cloud architecture on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
  • Select and scale SAP-certified cloud resources
  • Define networking and security strategies
  • Optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability
  • Integrate web services & middleware technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, serverless computing)

Implementation & Migration

  • Deploy and configure SAP HANA databases and application servers
  • Automate cloud deployments using Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation
  • Implement security and compliance best practices (IAM, firewalls, DDoS protection)
  • Execute data migrations and optimize SAP systems

Operations & Optimization

  • Establish monitoring and logging systems (Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, GCP Operations Suite)
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure and database performance
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through auto-scaling, reserved instances, and serverless technologies

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Work closely with SAP consultants, developers, and cloud engineers
  • Support cross-functional teams in implementing cloud solutions
  • Document and train IT teams on best practices

Your Know-how

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven expertise in cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP) for SAP HANA & web services
  • Strong experience in SAP Basis administration and cloud migrations
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE) and serverless technologies
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation)
  • Solid understanding of networking and security architectures (IAM, VPN, Private Link, firewall, WAF)

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
  • Knowledge of SAP HANA database tuning
  • Certifications in Azure, AWS, GCP, or SAP are a plus
